Last season I had this problem a number of times and again now first time getting the sled out this year.
After I start the machine and try to go, it bogs like something is holding it back, like the track is frozen. Usually what I do is lift the back and drop it a couple times and then give the sled a push to help it go. Once it goes for the first time, it's fine, until it sits for an hour or more. Once I get it moving, come to a stop and then go again, there is no issue.
Is there something I can do to reduce this issue? Could this be more than just a frozen track? Clutch problem?
Sled is a 1996 Polaris XLT that I mostly just use for pulling the kid on a sled and ice fishing. It has a 1.25" ripsaw track and new hyfax last year.
