Help me identify my sled

I recently bought a 1996 Polaris sled and I need to know what the engine size is and if I could a model so I can get parts etc I know it is an "aggressive chassis" and the hood says Xcr 700 but after doing research I found they dident make a Xcr 700 till 98 the back of the seat says 600 but I don't know if it is original seat I know the hood was repainted and new decals added so they could have put any numbers on the hood I haven't been able to find any obvious marking on motor telling me what size it is and from looking at pictures the 600 and 700 motors look a lot alike to me how do I identify what size my motor is
