Ok. I need help again. I just got done doing a full rebuilt on my 1987 XLV and I am having a few issues and just need some clarification on what to do. I asked these questions in the past but I didn't really get the answer I needed so I am going to post the questions again. I am sorry I am asking again...
1) On the oil pump. In my picture what is the inlet line and what is the outlet line? I put the filter and line on the upper nipple and put the return line on the bottom nipple. My problem is when I open the screw and bleed it. The lower line is what bleeds and the upper line doesn't do anything. I have the filter on the upper line. Can someone steer my in the correct direction on what I have going on here?
2) There is a idle screw on the carb. When I goose the throttle does this determine the ramp up? Is there a high idle adjustment?
These are the only two questions I have right now. I would be so happy if someone could help me. I included pictures of the oil pump again. Thanks
