I need some advice here. I got frustrated rebuilding my original clutch so I bought the new clutch below.
"NEW Polaris P85 Electric Start ES Drive Primary Clutch Basic #68 1321697.
This is a NOS OEM Polaris primary clutch never installed for Polaris snowmobiles.
This is the newer version with wide rollers and cut out spider in weight area.
Clutch is made for the 1997-1999 XC 600 700 Twins with electric start, but can be used on many other models and years.
This clutch has no spring or weights included."
My (94 classic 500, EFI, elect st) clutch takes a gold spring & (10M) 49.5gr weights w/ bushings, and the starting gear.
The 97' xc600 takes "(10M5) or (10M)" 49.5 gr weights.
This brand new clutch has no weights or spring, but it has wide rollers where my old one had narrow. Can I put my new gold spring and (10M) weights in it and be ok? I didn't know if the new one having wide rollers matters?
I was making a lot of assumptions on the fitment and wanted to get someone else's option on this.
Thanks
