Wide Trak 1998 500cc watercooled.
I was looking in the parts list and find out this sled has a V-belt.:eek:
Never seen a V belt under de hood, but now I know it should be there I found it.
But how can I inspect the state of this belt?
I found some topics ( for other sleds) to pul the cover but there is a bolt at the bottom that is difficult to reach.
Is that the only way or are there tricks to check the belt?
If I have to pull this cover, what do I expect? Is this starter spring flying true the air without the right precautions?
