Hi all, I recently had to replace the stator with a known good used 1 (was from my Formula SS) as the old one was damaged by a bolt that came lose.
Now I have lighting issues..
Headlight and tail/brake light and tach are dead.. I tested the voltage at headlight and was getting 10-37 VAC, So i replaced the regulator with a new one., but still problem exists.. I tested the regulators ground with an ohm meter, and its good..
the 2 yellow wires from stator were cut then resoldered when I swapped for used one, did it matter if i accidently switched yellow for yellow? as the both come from lighting coil, I cant see how that would matter.. but I never claimed to understand the stator system well ;)
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.. I am supposed to leave for a trip in next 5 hours ...
