Hey everyone, new to the forum. My girlfriend and I just picked up a 97 indy ultra, 7300 miles, SUPER clean, for only $900.
But before the snow starts flying, I really want to go through and make sure everything's in top working order. I know to check for tears in the carb boots (I actually have some being shipped right now, because at least one is dryrotted), and I already have the carbs off ready to be cleaned. I think I heard something about the water pump on this motor?
You guys have any tips on major (and minor) things I should check and go through? Also, any tips for tuning this motor? I'll probably have to go a jet bigger on the middle cylinder right?
