Just picked up a couple gems! 1983 Trailfire LX and 1984 Liquifire. The LF starts right off and ready to run. The Trailfire does not run, and the seller states it keeps burning out the CDI. Before I tear in to it does anyone have suggestions or experience with these?
I've searched old threads and came up with some advice on burnt out stators which I don't think is the issue. I'm thinking regulator or something similar.
I'm pretty excited about them. Speedo's are in KMH and the TFire reads 498 and the LFire reads about 750. By the condition I believe that is right because they both have really tight steering and hardly any wear on floorboards or handlebars etc.
