I searched a number of threads, but couldn't find the next steps to figure out why the speedometer isn't working. I uncoupled both ends, and the keys looked fined and it turned no problem one end to the other.
When I re-coupled the crankcase end to the three-bolt unit and turned the belt (which turned the track), no turn happened on the speedometer key. Do I need to remove the three bolts from that crankcase unit? I don't know what's back there and might fall out. Just want some reassurances I won't have any mishaps with parts flying out after I remove those three bolts.
I can get to the bolts without removing anything else, as everything is off the block.
Thanks, Eric.
