Hello everyone. I'm working on getting this snowmobile running. It has been sitting outside for the last 9 months and inside 9 months before that. So it had gas that was at least 1 1/2 years old. I forgot how bad stale gas can smell! I removed all the old gas. I've been told that now is the time to clean the carbs. So I will be taking them off. Also I will be checking the compression, another thing I was told to check.
Is there anything else that I should do before I try and start it. I did try it, it is injecting oil and it was trying to start, but I think I flooded it.
I'm an auto tech so working on engines is not a problem. Just need to readjust my thinking here with a 2 stroke!
Once it's running then I can go over the rest of it.
Please let me know what or if there is something I'm missing here!
