so i been doing a ton of work on this 87 indy 400. been all thru the skid . turns out this appears to be a xc-100 skid and they were used only a year or two. it was mounted in the stock location. it fits but it makes the track tight with the rear idlers all the way forward. not only that the end of the rails at the back are very very close to the track. it doesn't hit but its oh so close. i know there is no way that is correct. with no tension on the track there is not even any sag. im really thinking i need to move the skid forward 1 inch or so. where would i find the correct dimensions. not sure what it came out of.
