Indy 400 wiseco warm up

I have a Indy 400 with wiseco pistons. In the winter I normally idle it for 10 minutes and take it easy for the first few miles. I was going to do some grass drags and was wondering how I should warm up the engine, because I don't have the luxury to take it easy for a few miles in the summer, to prevent a cold sieze because they are forged pistons.
