A similar thread was started on a Skidoo specific site, but I thought I'd ask here where other makers get equal representation...
So what are some of the highlights of the model year 2016 for each of the makers.
1. Skidoo
2. Arctic Cat
3. Polaris
4. Yamaha
Of note about acquisitions, Polaris bought Timbersleds, makers of a bike-style sled. I also learned they have been heavily invested in Klim gear too. That might be old news, I just didn't know.
But onto sleds. I think they all revamped their lineup in some way or another.
Skidoo really didn't do a whole lot to theirs. RAS2 was the biggest news, which added a little more stability through the bumps and a little more suspension travel (.75"). They dropped the GSX line up and made some changed to the Renegades to fill in that class, but they really are not the same. People that looked at the GSX models are probably moving to the MXZs now.
