90 Indy 400 rebuilt, now no start

lundi 17 août 2015

I took the head off, cleaned that and the carbs, replaced gaskets although didn't look like anything was amiss. I have the intake air filter plastic unit off right now. I pulled 4-5 times before she wanted to start, then when she did she shortly thereafter revved up, the track shot the dolly out and landed on the floor, then it konked out.

I tried multiple times after that with different settings on the choke to no effect. Didn't want to spray starter fluid in there until I heard from the forum experts.

Can I check anything else before spraying starter fluid into the carb intake sides? Take the hoses off and see if pulling the crank cord pushes gas out?
