Now that the sled is running I figured it was time to figure out why the speedo isn't working. I did some internet research and talked to the local sled repair guy (Scholls 4seasons Motorsports, Bartlett IL). All said to check the speedo drive gear. So tonite I did that, found the bearing seized up and the little drive cable snapped. So now to replace those. Cable and speedo themselves are good. After that then I can work on the neglected maintanance. Then it's on to cosmetics. I'll post those questions in the body/cosmetics section.
