Ski suspension springs too stiff 1990 Indy 500

mardi 18 août 2015

I totally restored a 1990 Polaris Indy 500 four years ago, put Kimpex oil shocks front and rear. Was not impressed by the ride quality. I replaced all the shocks last winter with Kimpex high performance Nitro gas shocks. I fixed the rear with the new shocks, however the front is still very stiff and bouncy. The springs have absolutely no give to them. I can't find anywhere that I can lighten the springs. Has anyone had this issue, and if so what did you do? The back end floats now like it should, but the front end sucks.
