1987 Exciter 570 L/C Oil line routing

I am replacing all of the oil and fuel lines on my new to me '87 Exciter 570, and came across a tee in the oil line above the sight level on the right side, and the top port on the oil tank. Can anyone share with me how the upper portion of this line is routed? Is there an open end for vent purposes?
