I am looking to Purchase a new / used sled. I am new to snowmobiling and am looking for a 2 up touring machine. I have found plenty and realize many people are brand loyal and brand can be a personal choice. My question is value and how to determine it. I came across a 1999 ski doo grand touring 500 liquid cooled with electric start and reverse and ~400 miles on it. They are asking $2800.00. Can any one offer me some advice on determining the actual value of the machine and what I should be looking for when looking at a machine as far as wear is concerned??
