Working on a 75 Moto Ski Nuvik 300 with an unknown 399cc engine today. Have to pretty much rewire from scratch. The previous owner did a hack job on the wiring. Got the ignition side wired and the sled is back up and running. Have to wire up the ignition switch and kill switch, but that's easy enough.
My question is on the lighting side. I've verified that the plug running to the tail light works, and that the headlight bulb works, but I'm unsure of how to run power from the 2 yellow wires from the lighting coil to power the lights through the regulator.
Both wires from the stator are yellow with dashes. I'm assuming that one of the 2 get grounded, and the other just gets wired in with the positive from each bulb, and then wired into the regulator, but I'm not entirely sure.
