Hey all,
Fairly new to snowmobiles. Got my first just a couple of years ago. An old '95 Indy Trail 500. Lot's of fun.
So, this year I am looking at picking up another older sled - currently eyeing a '92 SP500 EFI. Has electric start. What role does the battery play besides being necessary for the electric start? If the battery went, would the fuel pump no longer work? i.e.. Dead Sled?
For new batteries, where is the best place to look and how much should I expect to pay? I've looked briefly, but the prices range greatly.
What are the Pros and Cons of EFI vs. Carb?
Thanks - still learning,
Steve
