Hi everyone,
I will be given a snowmobile in a couple of weeks. It's a 2004 Arctic Cat 370 Panther. It was my wife's grandfathers snowmobile, however, it hasn't been started since 2008. It has been stored in a shed for the last 7 years. It has probably less than a thousand kilometers on it. I figured that I would take it for my son so he could use it.
So what type of maintenance does everyone think I should carry out. I was thinking about draining out all the fuel, new spark plugs and battery, new oil (someone suggested to disconnect the oil pump and mix the oil), and see what else needs to be done when I get it. What does everyone else think. Am I thinking in the right direction, are there any other suggestions on what I should carry out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ryan
