Hi,
I lived in PA through 7th grade and became obsessed with snowmobiles in 5th or 6th grade. I got to ride on the back of one a couple of times but still have never driven one, having moved to the southeast at the end of 7th grade. I'm now 56 years old and would like to drive a snowmobile and have some sort of snowmobiling experience while I'm still able to, if possible. There are a lot of commercial snowmobile experiences out there and maybe that's the best I'll ever be able to do, but they're all expensive and I'm hoping there are better ways available. Are there people or clubs who would work with people like me (and hopefully my brother...maybe or maybe not) who would rent us snowmobiles and maybe act as guides, and we get a cheap hotel room in the area with the idea of saving some money on our end but still getting a good snowmobiling experience? If that's not practical for whatever reasons, can anyone suggest what they think might be good practical deals offered by commercial organizations?
Also can any of you people suggest something affordable but adaquate to use as a video recording device that straps to your head? It doesn't have to be a great new model, just something affordable that gets the job done. Like an older item we can get on ebay.
Thank you for any help or suggestions!!!
David
