inside gastank hose question

hi, 2005 mxz550f, I took the tank out to empty, heard some rattling so I pulled the hoseplug where the gas line goes into the tank, and the hose and filter were not connected to the hoseplug, the inside hose was cracking and crumbling, it all came apart.

so my question, Is this a 'special hose' or can it be replaced with any clear hose maybe. The hose was brown tinted, but I'm guessing from the gas.
