Fired up my sled today for the first of the season. No head lights or tail lights. The dash lights work and the hand warmers were extremely hot after running the sled just about 10mns. Weird cause I don't even think the hand warmers were turned on? From my research on forum it sounds like it could be a Voltage Regulator but I may be completely wrong...I'm not a mechanic.
If so, is the VR located on the floor of the sled below the exhaust? I think I saw it on the floor when I lifted the hood.
Is there any type of test I should do before I order any replacement part? Where do you recommend replacement part?
